Conservation Clean up!

The Fishing Friends Conservation Clean-Up Program empowers youth and community members to protect and preserve local waterways through hands-on environmental stewardship. As part of our commitment to conservation and education, this program organizes regular clean-up events at rivers, lakes, and parks throughout Western Massachusetts. Participants learn about the impact of pollution on aquatic ecosystems, the importance of environmental responsibility, and the value of working together to make a difference.

More than just picking up trash, our clean-up events serve as educational experiences where youth gain a deeper understanding of freshwater ecology, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and take pride in contributing to the health and beauty of their community. Each clean-up is an opportunity to connect with nature, foster a sense of environmental responsibility, and inspire the next generation of conservation-minded anglers.
